This is what I love doing..
To celebrate their 25th (silver) anniversary, VODW wanted to publish a book with cases on the 25 most successful Dutch Companies. As Art Director of the concept for the Jubilee book, I designed the cover, 5 theme spreadsheets and several templates. The leading visual theme throughout the book is a grid of 25 circles. Each business case has this grid in mini format on the top of the right page, showing the viewer which number he is reading. The add to the fun, this mini grid can also be used as a flip book feature.
Based in North Adams, MA, Bart Charter School is a tuition-free, college prep charter school serving 363 students in grades 6-12. Bart has accomplished that 100% of all BART graduates have been accepted into college. In order to demonstrate their strengths to the world, the school needed its own visual identity. I created a logo, stationery, signage and a website. The art direction of the photography for the website was also in my hands. www.bartcharter.org.
Starting up on their own, after being part of one of the Big 5 Consultancy Companies for more than 20 years, US VAT Inc wanted to position itself as a professional, well-rounded player in the Value Added Tax consultancy business. In addition to a logo and stationery, I also created their website. www.us-vat.com.
Capalino+Company is a full service government and community relations company in New York City. They came to me with the request to create a pocketfolder which would hold a flexible in-house made system of information sheets. In addition I designed a brochure and moving announcement for them as well.
Created a logo and stationery for this start-up law firm which would focus on clients in the construction business. My client wanted to use his first and last name, and desired to have a skyline as an image. I combined those two requests in this logo.
NYC based Pilates studio ‘Body in Motion’ wanted to take its business to the next level. Besides a professional logo, the time had come to have a website as well. Supplied with text and photography by professionals, I created a website that shows pilates is al about fluent movement. www.bodyinmotionnyc.com.
After years at a top rated Dutch Law Firm, Mirjam Hoogesteger decided to venture out on her own. She had always kept a business card I had designed, and now she was ready to have her own. She asked me to create her a logo, stationery and a website. www.hoogesteger-advocatuur.nl
When my sister called me to tell me she and her husband were expecting their first baby, she right away asked me if I could design her baby’s birth announcement. I was so over the moon with the news, that I said ‘yes’ to her design request. I was honored to be asked, also a little anxious. Designing for family and friends is always a little tricky. It turned out that my sister and I did great on this collaboration; it went smooth all the way! Yey, I became a proud aunt of Vyenne Indy! And to celebrate her third birthday, I registered her an internet domain and designed the homepage of her own website. These days all toddlers need their own website!
After many years in a group practice on the Upper East Side, Dr. Robert Bos wanted to fly solo. He came to me in order to get a real Dutch logo design. I started with the creation of the brand ‘BosMD’, then designed his logo, the business card, an ad banner and a website. www.bosmd.com
A blooming pediatrics practice in Brooklyn wanted a fun, child friendly logo. Coming in the practice I was impressed by the enormous collection of toy animals coming from all over the world. This gave me immediately lots of inspiration. The outcome is a logo with a imaginary animal, which has the initials of the practice name ‘Heights Pediatrics’ in it. Every physician got her own color assigned, so kids (and grown-ups too) can easily identify them. www.heightspediatrics.com
